Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years' experience. Minimum of one (1) years' experience within the last five (5) years Continuing Care, Brain Injury, Mental Health or other relevant clinical area. Experience with elderly or vulnerable populations, brain injury, addiction and mental health or developmental disability patients. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Evidence of knowledge of Continuing Care service delivery options, assessment/placement criteria, and community supports and agencies that may serve behaviorally complex patients. Additional preparation in Psychiatric and Mental Health . PIECES, Supportive Pathways, NVCI, capacity assessment or other related education. Case management education. AADL authorizer. Knowledge of third party funding sources and eligibility criteria. Comprehensive seating assessment education.
