Required Qualifications:

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist is preferred, with a focus on community experience. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet able to demonstrate understanding of team approach in client service is required. Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills paired with excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent knowledge of the Alberta Aids to Daily Living Program (AADL) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active AADL authorizer status. Proficient computer skills and experience using an electronic documentation system (e.g. Meditech).
