Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years previous Pediatric experience required. Previous Feeding experience (Assessment, Consultation, and Intervention), with a strong commitment to ongoing Continuing Education in this area. Proficiency in Pediatric Developmental Assessment and Consultation in the following areas: Activities of Daily Living; Fine Motor, Visual-Motor, Perception, and Sensory Processing skills. Must be a strong Self-Directed Learner. Excellent Organizational and Time Management skills. Excellent Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking skills. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills. BCLS-HCP required. Minimum of 1 year of recent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Community-Based experience. Current “Alberta Aids to Daily Living” Authorizer. Strong Advocacy skills. Attentive to detail.
