Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

CPR (BCLS-HCP) is required. Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist (CAOT) required. Minimum 1 year experience in acute care is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience with upper extremity splinting is preferred. Experience with Dysphagia assessment including bedside swallowing assessments and Philadelphia collars is preferred. Current Certification in Its Your Move Patient Handling and Alpha-Fim preferred. Membership in the Society of Alberta Occupational Therapists and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist is desirable.
