Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Graduation from a recognized nursing education program. Current BCLS- HCP required. Master of Nursing or equivalent graduate degree with a focus on advanced clinical nursing practice in child health. A minimum of 3 years of full-time (or equivalent number of hours) pediatric and/or Heart Transplant clinical experience as a registered nurse is required. Preference will be given to those with pediatric heart transplant experience. The NP is responsible for ensuring that his/her registration is current, valid and entered on the NP Roster of the CARNA under the Health Professions Act.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:PALS certification an asset. Computer experience (MS Office, tandem, Netcare) an asset.
