Master of Science in Nursing Degree supplemented by completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner Program in the Child Health stream. Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). The NP is responsible for ensuring that his/her registration is current, valid and entered on the NP Roster of the CARNA under the Health Professions Act. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). A minimum of 3 years of full time (or equivalent number of hours) clinical Paediatric or Cardiology experience as a Registered Nurse.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Paediatric Cardiology Registered Nurse experience. Nurse Practitioner experience; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner recent graduates from an accredited program will be considered.
