Active or eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta with a practice permit indicating appropriate stream of practice. Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Graduation from a recognized nursing education program.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of fulltime (or equivalent number of hours) clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner required, with at least 1 of the last 3 years working within geriatric settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a community setting would be preferred. Experience with development and/or implementation of evidence based practice. Experience with program development. Experience with clinical research. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
