Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Registered Nurse of Alberta with a practice permit indicating appropriate stream of practice. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of full time (or equivalent number of hours) clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner experience required, with at least 1 of the last 3 years working with adults with chronic disease.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a community setting or long term care setting would be preferred. Experience with the development and/or implementation of evidence based practice. Experience with program development. Experience with clinical or scientific research. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
