Required Qualifications:

Completion of one of the following programs: Master's degree in Psychology. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy and who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Candidates with the either of the following qualifications will be considered: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy with considerable experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with either: A related Master’s degree including training in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Considerable experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years addiction and mental health experience preferably with strong skills working with young adults and individuals with addictions in community settings. Advanced levels of knowledge and skill in the assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, and rehabilitation of persons with mental illness. Current BCLS-HCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of the resources of Addiction and Mental Health and the community. Demonstrated ability to work well with a range of community stakeholders and caregivers.
