Required Qualifications:

Completion of one of the following programs: master's degree in Psychology; master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; master's degree in Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Have a Master’s degree in Social Work, OT, Psychology, or Nursing with two years recent experience in Mental Health. Equivalencies may be considered. Current registration with the appropriate professional college or association that is recognized under the Health Professions Act. As an active and supportive treatment member, you have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You are a self-directed, highly motivated individual with exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem solving that is able to manage change and deal with a fast pace. Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many AHS employees are restricted to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. Speak to the hiring manager who will confirm if, as the successful candidate in this position, you will be restricted to work at only one LTC/DLS site in Alberta.
