Required Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include a PhD or MD and certification by the Canadian College of Medical Geneticists (i.e. CCMG or equivalent) in laboratory genetics. Minimum of 5 years holding a leadership position, as well as demonstrated relevant clinical and academic experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Applicants shall possess a strong track record of collegiality with co-workers, academic accomplishments, and evidence of ongoing continuing education in the genetics/genomics fields. Critical thinker with change management skills and project management skills on a larger scale hospital laboratory. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills, and an ability to work in a fast paced, changing team-orientated environment.
