Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Supervisory and/or Leadership training required. The ability to work in both X-ray and CT required. Leadership and change management skills. Strong organizational skills. Able to communicate with internal and external clients in a positive and productive manner. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with technical, medical and administrative personnel. Coaching and mentoring skills to foster an environment of collaboration and effective teamwork. Able to multitask with the ability to prioritize workload, and direct work assignments. Ability to interpret, explain and apply applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures. Strong, adaptive communication skills utilizing a variety of modalities (verbal, written, active listening). Effectively uses information and communication technology. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently and cooperatively to promote good teamwork. Ability to work under pressure, in emergency situations and balance and prioritize numerous demands. Sound judgement and concern for detail and accuracy. Compassionate and caring attitude and focused patient and family centered care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous supervisory/management experience desired.
