Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of five years previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Demonstrated competency in leading self, engaging others, building relationships, leading a team and promoting teamwork. Strong organizational, technical, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and computer skills. Ability to assume responsibility, to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. Demonstrates initiative, desire for professional growth, good judgement, positive attitude, and concern for detail, and accuracy. Ability in the use of tact, courtesy, and professionalism with patients, staff, and physicians.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated formal or informal leadership competencies (e.g. leadership experience, participation on committees/ projects, leading peers, consulting to management, conducting education, involvement with professional college, etc.).
