Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Good organizational skills and ability to assume responsibility. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork. Demonstrated initiative, good judgment and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and in emergencies. The ability to effectively communicate in English. Ability to demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff and physicians. Practices effective radiation protection, infection control and safety techniques as applicable. Proficient computer skills. Ability to adapt to changes. Demonstrated desire and actions to further own knowledge relating to profession.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent mobile radiography experience. Recent experience performing unenhanced head and c-spine CT. Recent experience with Muse, Agfa PACS, and Meditech.
