Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:ACMDTT enhanced practice licensure as required. Venipuncture certification required. Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) certification as required.
Preferred Qualifications:CTIC for CT Technologists preferred. Good organizational skills/ability to assume responsibility. Good interpersonal/communication skills/has tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff and physicians. Ability to cooperate, work independently and promote good teamwork and work under pressure and in emergency situations. Perception, initiative, good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy. Practices effective radiation protection, infection control and safety.
