Required Qualifications:

MD eligible for licensure in Alberta. FRCPC with specialty in Public Health and Preventive Medicine / Community Medicine. Other training and experience e.g. CCFP with additional training in public health (MPH) will be considered. This position is eligible for AHS sponsorship. The successful applicant may be granted AHS sponsorship support for a CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment, if required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Communicate well in both oral and written formats. Accurately deliver public health messages by presenting to medical and non-medical groups, as well as in doing interviews with the media. Develop and maintain a network of effective strategic relationships with clients, internal peers and colleagues in municipalities, provincial and federal governments to gain support in order to achieve business goals.
