Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 6 years of progressive, diverse healthcare leadership experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Ability to manage resources in a changing and multifaceted environment with diverse, complex and sensitive issues.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization. Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners such as physicians and staff, patient advisors, agencies, and government partners. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to deal with highly complex or sensitive issues in a professional manner. Considerable skill in balancing diverse, and occasionally conflicting, stakeholder interests. Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to influence others. Experience/expertise in facilitating presentations. Experience in the participation of senior level planning, research projects or teams, project analysis, outcomes, report development and dissemination of results. Ability to work independently with guidance in only more complex situations.


Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a health sciences field or related area plus appropriate license or other recognized designation is preferred. A graduate degree in health care management, business administration or related field is desirable. Significant successful experience in leading and supervising staff within a health care environment. Knowledge and experience in application of business planning and program/project management theories, principles and practices. Conflict resolution
