Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science or related field is required (IT Management or Database Administrator Lead/Senior DBA experience). Experience with managing database related contracts/licenses (e.g Oracle, Microsoft) Required. 10-15 years of work-related experience in a large and complex IT environment. 5+ years of DBA experience using Oracle, MS SQL Server or Cache. Extensive knowledge and understanding of database management best practices. Experience in designing and implementing database services solutions with at least one of the following platforms is required: Microsoft or Oracle on a unix/linux platform. Experience in the support and management of large database installations. Ability to plan and work within set project schedules and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and team members. Ability to identify opportunities, develop and implement process improvements. Strong strategic planning skills. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills for database related problems and incidents. Extensive experience leading and managing professional staff. Strong communication skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong Vendor/Client Management skills. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with highly complex internal and external stakeholders. Project Management experience. Ability to work with critical systems under tight timelines. Multi-tasking and time management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

IT healthcare experience is preferred.
