Required Qualifications:

Effective communicator with strong organizational and influential skills, the successful applicant will be resident focused with a commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills including a demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, teaching and the ability to inspire others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with other stakeholders for the purpose of achieving common, resident focused goals. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term projects and to evaluate the effectiveness of same. Preference will be given to Registered Nurse applicants but other regulated professionals with applicable skills and training will be considered The Care Manager is responsible for monitoring, coaching and performance evaluation of professional and unregulated staff. Assistance with staff scheduling and assignments, managing resident and family concerns and implementing and maintaining standards of practice are ongoing duties. The care manager is responsible to monitor, coach and evaluate staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of Accommodation Standards and CCHSS preferred. RAI 2.0 training and computer skills preferred.
