Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Graduated from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program • Current registration with regulatory body (CLPNA) • Current BCLS-HCP certification required • Minimum 2 years leadership experience required Experience, Skills and Competencies: • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task • Effective time-management skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Able to problem solve effectively and in a timely manner when dealing with challenging and/or confrontational situations • Conflict management skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle in good working condition • Relevant Home Living orientation courses for Nurses • McMaster Case Management TraininaMinimum 2 years leadership experience required. Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a home care and/or community care environment. Computer literacy and experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Meditech training.
