Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgement and problem solving skills. Must be organized, motivated and self-directed. Ability to function effectively in a fast paced changing environment required. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment required. Must be able to assist patients with mobility problems.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous medicine/neuro/geriatric experience preferred.
