Required Qualifications:

4-year Degree in Information Technology or equivalent education and experience in lieu. GIAC, CISSP or equivalent Information Security certification is required. Minimum 6 years of directly related experience (usually 10+ years depending on scope and complexity of experience). Proven experience in large, complex organizations. Application to expert level knowledge of industry best practices with respect to security architecture. Disciplines in major accountability areas identified above, with good practical knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, ISF IRAM 2, SANS Top 20 Controls and COBIT. Applied management skills within either project (PMI) and/or operational (ITIL) disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

SABSA, TOGAF or other IT architecture knowledge very desirable. Knowledge and expertise in Vulnerability Management and its practices is highly desirable. Mature communications skills - able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, from manager to executive level; strong facilitation and negotiation skills. Ability to design systems in a multi-stakeholder environment. Creative problem solving and design skills.
