Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Trade Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. Must possess an Alberta Journeyman Certificate in a relevant trade or a two year Engineering Technologist Diploma from an accredited college. Must have five years maintenance experience in a hospital setting. Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent progressive responsibility in a trade. Must have prior experience and comprehensive knowledge relating to all aspects of assigned responsibilities. Must be familiar with writing and reading blueprints and schematics. Prior experience in supervising/managing a multi-trade team in a Lead hand or equivalent role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in related areas is an asset.
