Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

You are an organized, independent worker committed to achieving the goals of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. You have maintained up to date technical skills and knowledge of current methodologies and/or instrumentation with your area. You demonstrate excellent problem solving, decision making and troubleshooting skills. You are approachable and reliable. Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build and maintain relationships, facilitate teamwork, resolve conflict and manage change.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience in a high volume Transfusion Medicine Laboratory is preferred. Familiarity with the Sunquest Laboratory Information System and other general computer applications is an asset.
