Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and within a team environment. Effective time management, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills and the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and priorities at one time are important. The successful candidate will represent Alberta Health Services - Laboratory Services in a respectful, professional and courteous manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience and knowledge in histology procedures preferred. Experience in Neuromuscle, Electron microscopy, Neuropathology, or mammatome procedures considered an asset.
