Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of diploma in Information Technology, Information Sciences or related discipline and/or equivalent experience. 3-5 years related experience. Experience transforming end user functional requirements into a workflow based software implementation. Strong cognitive, analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories and concepts. Ability to set and meet personal deadlines and adapt to changes in priority. Specialized depth in software technology. Knowledge of emerging trends in technology relating to software applications. Experience leading staff and business clients. Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision. Superior customer relationship skills. Must possess a valid passport and/or relevant documentation allowing entry into the USA and must be able to travel within Alberta.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification or Proficiency in the Epic Ambulatory application is preferred. Certification or Proficiency in other Epic applications will be considered. Experience in a healthcare environment. Experience implementing, supporting and upgrading single vendor integrated platforms. Epic systems experience and/or training.
