Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience or IT experience in a medium to large IS department. Minimum educational requirement is Diploma in Information Technology, Information Sciences, or related discipline. Must have strong cognitive, analytical, and problem solving skills. Must have strong customer service commitment. Must have demonstrated effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must have experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including management, clinicians, physicians, and coworkers. Must have working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories, and concepts and of the healthcare business. Must have experience in transformational or system change to improve process. Must have knowledge of established technology industry best practice relating to software applications. Must have experience with creating standard documentation. Must have ability to set and meet personal deadlines and adapt to changes in priority. Must have ability to work in a team environment. Experience in coordinating teams. Must be self-motivated, self-directed, with ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision. Travel may be required. Must be willing to travel between different sites in the Edmonton zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer experience in a healthcare environment. Previous experience in a functional leadership, delivery coordinator, or project manager capacity is an asset. Prefer experience in implementing software technology.
