Top Tip: The Easiest Way to Share Postings

The easiest way to share a job posting with someone internal or external to AHS is to share the requisition identification number (located at the top of the posting starting with ALB). The requisition identification number can easily be searched on the job board.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years broad based rural nursing experience with at least 2 years recent experience in Home Care and/or LTC. Strong working knowledge of CCHSS. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a virtual team. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle is good repair for work related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferably with an adult focus in a health care setting.
