Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recognized for clinical expertise in Home Living Program areas. Ability to evaluate clinical performance, assess staff clinical needs and plan appropriate education strategies. Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills. Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills as well as excellence in written and verbal communication. Demonstrates creativity, flexibility and initiative. Displays highly developed organizational skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving ability. Able to work in different settings and environments (home environments and weather conditions), as well as be able to lift and carry supply bags, which weigh approx. 35-50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Clinical experience within Home Living, 2 years preferred. Participation in research activities is an assets. Management experience and project management experience are assets.
