High school diploma required. Ability to work independently and to collaborate with stakeholders is essential. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required. Incumbent will be required to train on AHS hand hygiene review programs, AHS hand hygiene policy and procedure and other review programs as required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience with technology: MS Office and components especially use of Notebook, iPad, workstation or laptop, overhead projector, formatting and printing educational material including powerpoint. Experience in healthcare, preferably working with front line staff. Knowledge of the chain of infection and routine practices. Knowledge of standards applicable to the project. Experience in conducting reviews or inspections. Experience in developing and preparing entry-level reports. Position requires travel to sites and facilities across the zone. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. A valid Alberta Driver’s license and a vehicle for business use is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in a health-related field preferred. A combination of related experience and education may be considered.
