Description:

Reporting to the Seniors Health Managers, the Home Care Manager is responsible and accountable for direction, team leadership, and organization over the day to day activities of the High Prairie Home Care department, as well as support of the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The Care Manager of Homecare is responsible and accountable for making unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of the resident and client care service. The position will require strong relationship building abilities that include facilitation, collaboration, and consultation skills, utilizing persuasion and influence, to lead the Home Care department.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree. 3 years plus years’ experience in a Nursing role within the last 5 years plus a minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership capacity (i.e. Charge Nurse or Team Lead).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Manager experience. Previous Home Care experience. Consideration will be given to equivalencies in education and experience.
