Completion of master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a health promotion or related field with experience working with complex networks and partnerships. Knowledge and application of the population health promotion model, relevant health promotion strategies and determinants of health. Experience with project/program management and program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to communicate (written, verbal and interpersonal). Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into high quality deliverables (technical reports, strategic plans, presentations, creative writing pieces). Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including conceptual thinking, strategizing, and problem-solving. Demonstrated organizational skills and abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of disciplines, sectors and internal and external stakeholders/partners. Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Ability to mobilize diverse groups and build consensus. Skilled in group facilitation, chairing meetings, teaching and presenting. Ability to use Windows based computer and corresponding software is required (Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a maternal, infant and early childhood health care environment. Comprehensive content expertise in maternal, infant and child health. Experience working with diverse and high risk populations. Experience in health marketing and communications. Experience in creative writing for a public audience. Knowledge of various research methods and ability to interpret data. Experience with quality improvement and evaluation.
