Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Health Education or a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

1-2 years experience working in a public health/health promotion or community health setting. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Knowledge of health promotion and community development theory and practice. Excellent evaluation and research skills. Proven organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Computer skills required. Ability to access and proficiently use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs. Ability to perform duties as outlined on the Physical Demand Statement (PDS) for the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Tobacco Reduction training (ie. TRAC, Quit Core) and experience in cessation programming is an asset. Knowledge of injury prevention programs and strategies an asset.
