Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Physically capable to lift food, supplies and equipment up to 30lbs and must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Work related experience in institutional food services/restaurant setting is preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language; competency test may be required. Must possess simple arithmetic skills. Must possess motor coordination and dexterity. Must maintain a high level of personal hygiene. Capable of working in a fast paced environment. Physically fit and able to withstand moderate to heavy exertion. Must have excellent attendance record, reliability, and work effectively as part of a team. These must be demonstrated through employment records and references. Food Safety training is an asset. Customer service training/experience is an asset.
