Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Physically capable to lift food, supplies and equipment up to 46lbs and must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs. This position requires you to walk and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two years food service experience including customer service. Must be able to read, write and speak clearly using the English language with patients, co-workers and other hospital departments. Ability to show respect to all people is essential. Ability to multi-task, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of the food service team. Must be able to complete repetitive movements for periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge or experience with operating a computer. Experience in a hospital environment. Experience with inventory management; receiving deliveries, expiry dates and minimizing waste while utilizing “First in- First Out".
