Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Social workers must be authorized to perform psychosocial interventions. Several years (3-5) of clinical experience, with supervision, as a Family Therapist, is required. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an acute treatment setting is desirable. Adolescent experience is preferred. Ability to function as a Family Therapist while collaborating with other team members of the multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of assessment techniques in determining suicide risk. Knowledge of range of normal and problematic child, adolescent, and family development stages. Knowledge of network of Mental Health counseling and treatment resources in Calgary and Southern Alberta.
