Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Psychology. Master’s degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy and who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master’s degree in Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active Registration with Appropriate Regulatory College under the HPA. Must have formal clinical training and knowledge in child and adolescent mental health with a minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in the community mental health setting providing services to children, youth and their families who have complex mental health issues with associated cognitive, behavioral, and developmental delays/disorders is required. Ability to handle crisis and stressful situations in a calm facilitative manner. Experience providing expert clinical consultation to professionals. Ability to manage a varied caseload and complete work in a timely manner. Must have family therapy skills, supplemented by strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively, and to contribute positively to change in emerging services/programs. A valid driver’s license and access to vehicle is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Training in and understanding of DSM-V-TR diagnoses. Experience working with Child and Family Services, Disability Services (FSCD), schools and other health partnership initiatives, multicultural groups, program development and community resources for children and adolescents is preferred.
