Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in evaluation or research based degree in a health related field (e.g., clinical epidemiology, public health, psychology, education or sociology). Two to three years of experience applying mixed methods data collection and conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis. Equivalent training/experience may also be considered. Experience sourcing validated assessment tools, conducting interviews and focus groups, designing surveys, and conducting analysis of secondary data sources. Experience in researching, retrieving, and critically appraising published and unpublished medical and evaluation literature.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced written and communication skills, presentations, organizational, and diplomacy skills. Demonstrated ability to foster complex relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Indigenous communities. Knowledge of the OCAP principles. Relevant work experience in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Experience collaborating with diverse AHS stakeholder groups (e.g., SCNs). Knowledge of cancer prevention and modifiable risk factors. Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention, public health theories, and best practice evidence related to cancer prevention. Experience designing logic models.
