Required Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced level experience with SAS and Tableau. Broad based skills and knowledge of outbreak investigation methods and/or public health surveillance as well as communicable disease control, environmental health, public health and occupational health. Strong skills in biostatistics, epidemiology as well as working with large and complex health-related data sets. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills. Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate with administrators, researchers, planners and service providers. Proven ability to plan, organize and lead short and long-term plans and projects. Strong problem solving, critical appraisal and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member in a high-paced team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in epidemiology (or related field) with 3 years of progressive public health-related experience preferred. Understanding of relational databases and experience with accessing and using data from Oracle servers an asset. Ability to conduct synthesis reviews of the literature an asset.
