Your Opportunity:

As the proliferation of mobile devices into all aspects of AHS business continues to grow at a rapid pace, oversight, security and management of these devices becomes increasingly critical. IT Application Services Level 4 - Enterprise Mobility Management Specialist position utilizes previous expertise in the Mobility landscape, as well as specialization in Enterprise Mobility Management solutions in order to lead the top-level operation of the AHS fleet of Mobile Devices. All Non-Union Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusion in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.

Description:

Reporting to the Manager – Mobility Technology & Services, this position leads the design, support and maintenance of a complex Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution which will ultimately manage more than 50,000 mobile devices – devices owned either by AHS or by AHS employees, physicians or partners. The EMM solution has interconnectivity to numerous IT resources which is vital to the secure operation of AHS Mobile Devices. The position will interface with both the EMM vendor as well as a number of teams in IT to ensure proper operation and connectivity of the EMM solution. The EMM solution has been identified as being on the critical path for the implementation of Connect Care, as the solution will enable the secure delivery of the Connect Care applications to mobile devices, in addition to enabling secure access from personally owned devices. As such the Specialist position must ensure optimal uptime and performance of this critical system. The position is also the top-level of support for mobile devices and connectivity at AHS. Issues which require in-depth investigation through the EMM logs or direct consultation with the EMM vendor will be escalated to the Specialist position.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in information technology, information sciences, or related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Advanced problem solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate a project teams to each project goals. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to set personal and team deadlines, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes in priority. Self-motivated with little supervision.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of work experience in information technology preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in either a Mobility-specific or Application Management role preferred. Ability to identify links between business strategy and technology solutions preferred. Knowledge of linkages between processes of healthcare delivery and technology preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in administration of Enterprise Mobility Management or Mobilie Device Management • Experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Server, SQL Database Experience, Application Support expertise • Knowledge of emerging trends in technology relating to Mobility, EMM and applications.
