Required Qualifications:

A minimum of baccalaureate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field is required. A minimum of 10 years progressive Human Resources experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity, with five (5) years in a leadership role. Labour relations experience in a unionized environment. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client focused orientation and demonstrated commitment to service excellence. Strong consulting skills, with ability to foster a climate of cooperation and collaboration amongst, and build solid relationships with, other internal HR portfolios/services, operational leaders and other partners. Strong and effective leadership skills, with a focus on building a high-performing team. The ability to mentor, coach, inspire, and build confidence and resilience in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues both within Human Resources and in support of the wider organization. Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources within a complex environment. Practical experience in strategy development and implementation, policy development, and project management within a large organization. Demonstrated research, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.


Preferred Qualifications:

Professional designation (CHRP) is preferred.
