Required Qualifications:

Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous Experience of a minimum 5 years as a Dietitian in a healthcare setting. Experience using Nutrition Care Process Terminology. Experience using electronic medical records. Experience in obesity management. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Strong understanding of health literacy and plain language.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in a related area is preferred (e.g. nutrition and metabolism, adult education, program planning and evaluation).
