Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate will demonstrate a Patient First philosophy and have excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues and clients as a member of a team. Evidence of effective client interviewing and counseling skills in both an individual and group setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years prior experience working in a variety of practice areas is preferred with training and skills in Motivational Interviewing an asset.
