Required Qualifications:

10 years in an investigative capacity. Ideally in a larger organization of similar complexity and diversity as AHS. Demonstrated advanced interviewing experience and knowledge. Violence risk management training. A minimum of post-secondary education or a combination of education and experience. Major Case Management training and experience. Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Experience testifying at judicial and/or quasi-judicial venues.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work flexible and extended hours when required. Client focused with a commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making and escalated major case management. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long-term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and acknowledge the collective agreement philosophy. Valid Driver's License and Vehicle required. Ability to work variable hours when required. Flexibility to leave the local site to work out-of-town on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous police experience an asset.
