Required Qualifications:

Diploma or certificate in an approved health related program in a regulated profession (e.g. Social Work, LPN). Registration (including provisional registration) in good standing with applicable college or eligible for registration in respective professional body. Recognized by the Indigenous community as having accrued traditional rights to facilitate ceremonial, spiritual and/or teachings. Training and guidance in the use of traditional Indigenous approaches to wellbeing. Experience in a health care setting or in a human services field. Advanced experience/knowledge of Indigenous healing methods, culture and traditions. Knowledge and respect for the diversity of Indigenous populations and communities. Knowledge of Indigenous history, worldview, perspectives, and beliefs/values. Ability to facilitate traditional Indigenous protocol, traditional medicines, and Indigenous Healing methods. Demonstrates good written skills and use of relevant computer software.
