Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline with a proven record of communication strategy development and implementation, minimum 5 years. Experience in developing and managing corporate brands. Advanced written and communication skills. Ability to write for diverse audiences and translate technical documents into plain language. Experience in managing complex social media campaigns. Experience in managing online communities. Experience in developing large publications. A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in a health setting or other public sector setting. Ability to work with high-level external Alberta Health and internal (zone and provincial) key stakeholders. Ability to facilitate and manage working groups and steering committees. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in developing editorial calendars. Experience in creating multimedia (video, graphics, etc.) for online and social media. Conflict management expertise focusing on group dynamics and diverse priorities. Advanced skills in presentations and written communication to staff, stakeholders and other partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

ABC or CPRS membership an asset. APR certification an asset.
