Required Qualifications:

Masters in Theology or Religious Studies or a clinically related field together with designation as a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner. Appropriate licences and registrations as applicable. Current Membership of Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association canadienne de soins spirituels, (CASC/ACSS).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional formal learning or participation in continuing education in palliative care, gerontology or mental health/addictions. Experience in crisis intervention/family therapy/grief and bereavement counseling with individuals and families facing chronic, critical and life threatening illness. Basic life support. Vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.


Preferred Qualifications:

Project Planning. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Meditech and Connect Care. Experience with Telehealth or virtual platforms eg Skype for Business.
