Completion of Grade 12.
Additional Required Qualifications:College certificate/diploma in related health care discipline such as Community Health Representative, Social Work and nursing (if part of a registered profession - registration in good standing with applicable governing body). Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of the diversity of Indigenous cultural and political structures. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment. Demonstrate ability and comfort with coaching and teach individuals and groups. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners respectfully and collaboratively. As a bona fide occupational requirement and under Section 11 of the Alberta Human Rights Act, only Indigenous applicants will be considered. We encourage Indigenous candidates to self-identify.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to speak an Indigenous language.
