Required Qualifications:

Masters level (or equivalent) in public health, population health, health promotion, or related area. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an organization of significant size and complexity, with a focus on population public health, health promotion, community engagement and/or community development. Experience building and sustaining working relationships with a diversity of stakeholders. Experience with knowledge translation and effective communication strategies. Knowledge of best practices in community health, community development, engagement and wellness. Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Advanced written and oral communication skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work independently, set priorities and work simultaneously on a variety of projects and manage multiple priorities. Effective communicator with strong facilitation and organization skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong time management and attention to detail. Ability to navigate, or familiarity with AHS context, systems, and processes considered an asset.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in community development, health promotion and population health are preferred. Experience with research and project management methodology, processes and tools is an asset. Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft programs is an asset. Experience with various technologies and strategies for engaging stakeholders virtually and in-person is an asset. Knowledge and expertise in health equity, diversity and inclusion is an asset.
