Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration before starting in the position. Minimum of 3 years experience providing direct clinical care to adolescents with addiction and/or mental health concerns. Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical leadership role. Knowledge and skills in assessment (standardized measures of cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and emotional functioning), DSM-V diagnoses, and intervention such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based treatment modalities. Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention, and First Aid/BLS.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference is given to candidates with experience working with Children's Services and/or community partners. Strong ability in program development and ongoing evaluation. Intermediate computer skills are required. Preference to candidates with experience in Connect Care.
